Yeah, I know the audio is messed up. It's not the mic, it's because I recorded via OBS, and that messed up the audio. Sometimes it's difficult to get all the tech working. I tried.
If the audio is really hurting your ears, I process the audio a bit and made an unlisted version of this video with different audio ruclips.net/video/ah4WplJqaDA/видео.html
At 2:20 I point at a group of four and say it adds to 43. That was a mistake.
At 27:40 I said April but typed in 03. Whoops.

How to make a Birthday Magic Square
Просмотров 31 тыс.Год назад
A birthday magic square is a special type of magic square that uses someone's birth date in the top row. Then every row, column, and main diagonal add up to the special birthday number - and a whole lot of other magic properties as well! Notes: Some people have realised it isn't always possible to make a birthday magic square that avoid negative values or repeats. In fact, if your total is less...

UPDATE: I've had a think about those integer solutions rectangles. Here is one way to construct the rectangle. Take two pythagorean triples: (u, v, w) and (x, y, z); Then we can make four pythagorean triples that fit together, namely (ux, vx, wx), (vx, vy, vz), (uy, vy, wy), (uy, ux, uz). When something cracks it usually has a random direction pattern. And the universe should have cracked that way. Usually random direction of Big Bang. And why because if you put things together and keep on building then when something crash it takes time in different directions. Though symmetry is a localised pattern of numbers. Pi is about symmetry rather than random. Whenever you need symmetry which is supposed to be more stable you have to use Pi. Even if you take distant galaxies the spectrum of them gives the symmetry elements of the galaxy. Almost 90% are hidden space of the random. Light can come only from electrons transitions of nucleus disstable. That too relative.

What a mess! Is there a theory that any unificaation of more than one filed of science must increase in complexity? This is the most in-depth and coherent explanation of the Riemann hypothesis I have seen for lay people. I am not sure if you have "for dummies" books in England, but someone needs to do a "Riemann hypothesis for dummies" book. Maybe you can do it James! Hopefully your terminology in England is the same as or similar to that in the US.

It's just graph theory isn't it ? I counted the number of lines (and not sides) of each boxes and saw 2 boxes have 4 and 3 have 5. Since there can only be 2 boxes with an odd number of lines, this is impossible. (Because we have to enter and exit once every box but the one we begin with and the one we end with, all the boxes but 2 should have an even numbers of sides).

0:45 I like the answer just fine as long as we're clear that he's redefining what the standard mathematic symbols mean. "=" no longer means "equals" when a series does not converge. Also, it's just one of many possible redefinitions of '='. However, these videos that don't point it out try to make you think it's some sort of crazy unintuitive thing. it's not, it's just totally different. Reusing the = sign was a poor decision.

The proof at the end seems incomplete, as one would have to prove that the areas of the triangles are proportional to a^2, b^2 and c^2. Its not difficult to do this, but the most intuitive way to do it would be using the Pythagorean theorem which is circular, so it would make sense to show a way to prove this without Pythagoras. One way to see it intuitively would be to scale any of the triangles down until the hypotenuse is length 1. rotate the triangle until the hypotenuse is horizontal, then scale the triangle horizontally and vertically by a factor x, obviously the area of the triangle has been scaled by a factor of x^2 and since the hypotenuse was horizontal it was scaled by a factor of just x. The big X in the final equation would be the area of the triangle scaled down to hypotenuse length 1. On an abstract note, looking at the final picture we know that A, B, and C are all similar triangles. So if we scale triangle A by some scalar x such that the new area can be morphed into a square with side length a, by similarity applying that same scale factor to triangles B and C would allow us to morph those new areas into squares with side lengths b and c. Since A+B=C it must be true that Ax+Bx=Cx => a^2+b^2=c^2.

    • @Chris-5318

      You: " 10x - x = 9x = 8.999...1" Nope. 10x - x = 8.999... = 9 You: "10x=9.9999..... 0 the last decimal is zero" The word is "digit", not "decimal". Infinite decimals do not have a last digit. 10x = 9.999..., not 9.999...0. Besides, if I ignore that, surely 9.999...0 / 10 = 0.999...90 and not the 0.999... that you started with.

There are several possibilities and could be multiple moving parts. First we must ask why the results of day 1 are so different than day 2. There might be a hidden factor such as a different dose on different days; timing of the medicine administration and results; or different patient profiles. If all are equal then we have radical scatter of data, and deep uncertainty. The amount of data scatter appears to be far greater than the differences of drug A and B effect; therefore no attempted conclusion would be meaningful. If we choose to weigh each data point equally (the standard assumption), then drug A cure rate would rightly be 67% average for both days. But if we decide to weigh day 1 and day 2 percentages equally, then drug A cure rate would be 55% for both days. We are well within reason to choose either method in this situation; but we’d need to show error bars which would be something in the range of +- 20% to 40%.
